What Is ADAS Calibration?
Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) — such as lane departure warning, automatic emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control — often use a camera mounted to the windscreen. Even a millimetre of misalignment after a replacement can affect how accurately these systems read the road, so recalibration is an important step for vehicles fitted with this technology.
